It may be getting to look a lot like Christmas outside, depending on what part of the globe you inhabit, but despite the dropping temperatures here in the Midwest U.S., the video game front sure is heating up!

A couple of new games caught my eye this month as I browsed the software section of my local Big Box O'Electronica. But while the Dungeons & Dragons saga Temple of Elemental Evil is sure to arouse the RPG-lover's senses—and to work me into a frenzy—the really big release this month was a long awaited shooter by some former 2015 and Electronic Arts developers called Call of Duty. I'll tell you all about both of them in my Current Reviews below.

Next issue, I'll review a new joystick from the folks over at Logitech, and dig up a fancy, bargain-basement bin RPG that will still wow you 2 years after its release.

Until next time, if they lag…
