What We're Reading

Public domain image courtesy stock.xchng, www.sxc.hu We always have a rather large "to be read" pile leaning precariously in a corner of the Demensions editorial office (also known as the spare bedroom.) And—confession time!—not all of it is science fiction and fantasy. Shocking, isn't it? But the majority of the pile is new or very recent speculative fiction and what we read, we review.

Full Disclosure: We occasionally receive review and/or advance reader copies of genre titles direct from the publishers, although most titles reviewed here were purchased by us. Free books are one of the few perks that come with running a webzine, but a badly written book is still bad, even when you didn't have to pay for it. No matter how we get our books, our reviews are totally (sometimes brutally) honest. The PR folks aren't always amused, but it lets us sleep at night.
